Travel Theme: Parks…………………….An English Country Garden
I may not be from the land down under but I am most definately from the land of parks, wild-life reservations, sanctuarys, national trust sites and world wildlife preservation areas. England is chock a block with green and verdent parkland containing a lot of wildlife. Here is a photographic trip around one of my favourite parks which epitomises the song: -
How many kinds of sweet flowers grow In an English country garden? We’ll tell you now of some that we know Those we miss you’ll surely pardon Daffodils, heart’s ease and phlox Meadowsweet and lady smocks Gentian, lupin and tall hollyhocks Roses, foxgloves, snowdrops, forget-me-nots In an English country garden
But it’s not just flowers and shrubs that abound in this verdent land
sculptures – old and modern
plenty of wild-life
However in this particular park I was surprised to see a stranger in the normal mix of birds, bunnies, bees and butterflies.
Yep an Albino Wallaby ………..in an English Country Garden.

Some fabulous photos! stunning gardens, gorgeous flowers, great photos, sweet babies AND a twist in the tail!
An excellent English Country Garden display. I love the lillies with the splash of yellow – unusual. The bunny and duckling fabulous inclusions but a long lashed, fluffy Albino Wallaby, a must have in very exotic English Country Garden…

That clematis is fabulous, and I’m looking at a vase of Star Gazer lilies right now. The statues are brilliant too- especially the nun. Great theme.
