A Word A Week Photo Challenge – Cloud
According to the dictionary the definition of ‘cloud’ is a mass of visible condensed watery vapour floating high above the level of the ground. A mass of smoke or dust, a vague patch of colour in or on a transparent body, a great number of birds;insects;arrows;horsemen!! – all moving together, a light woollen scarf?????. Anyway there is a wealth of interpretations to chose from. Of course my fav photographic shots of clouds are at sunset, but I like fluffy white ones against a blue sky as well – How about you? As usual if you decide to take part please link to your post to this one so others can join in and check out other blogger’s entries. I reblogg a few responses to the challenge each week so don’t forget to add a tag ‘ A Word A Week Photo Challenge’ so I can find your post easily (makes it easy for me to hit the reblog button without having to search through all the other tags). Unfortunately my favourite shot of clouds was taken many years ago before digital. I and a friend were standing high on top of a mountain. Its was clear but the wind was blowing and the only clouds the background were mirroring the shape of our hair which was at 90 degrees to the left of both our faces (and the clouds were directly next to the hair in the background).
Photos taken (in order) at Sri Lanka, Philippines, South America, Thailand, Australia
Greece, England, Australia, Greece, Peru, Bolivia

Gorgeous, all of them, and so different from each other. What a lovely collection.
Such beautiful clouds. I love the sunset one with the boat. So dreamy.
I love watching the clouds. You have some beautiful ones here.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Breath taking. One of these days, I will try to find the names of cloud formation. I remember, Nimbus, Cumulus,

So lovely! I love #4 (the picture with the leaves and branches in the foreground) … #8 is great. I’m the kind of people who sees things in clouds, and I almost see a horse-cloud prancing! Where may I ask, was #10 taken (the one with a temple and statue)? Hope I got the numbers right! Thanks for sharing nonetheless!
No 10 was taken in Melbourne just up the road from where I live by the river
