What do you call a gathering of Crabs? Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
Thanks for your comments – appreciate the feedback 🙂
I like to use my own created noun – a scuttle. Much more appropriate than a cast!
Love the picture, clarity and composition are great.
Nice I like a scuttle of crabs 🙂
Think it sounds more appropriate! Crabs used to really freak me out as a child – we would only take holidays in Whitby in west Yorkshire (where the biggest crab I saw alive was smaller than my child size palm!) but I didn’t dare run over seaweed in my bare feet in case a crab shot out and ‘got me’
big guys looks like my uncle larry – what we call the ‘red crab’ of the family!
Great shot! I love how that one crab really pops out of the photo.
Love the picture of the multi colored crabs!
Don’t know what the collective noun is but it sure looks like a nuclear family – Daddy, Mummy and the little nippers.
Creepy is what I calls it.
aww I thought they were quite cute!!
In a crabby sort of way, I suppose.
Wonderful …. that red crab – is leading roll … in all the black an grey. Stunning.
Beautiful! Love the way the single red crab stand out among the greying black ones. A stunning , exciting image. What an adventure…Thanks.
