Think it sounds more appropriate! Crabs used to really freak me out as a child – we would only take holidays in Whitby in west Yorkshire (where the biggest crab I saw alive was smaller than my child size palm!) but I didn’t dare run over seaweed in my bare feet in case a crab shot out and ‘got me’

I like to use my own created noun – a scuttle. Much more appropriate than a cast!

Don’t know what the collective noun is but it sure looks like a nuclear family – Daddy, Mummy and the little nippers.
