The Green Heart of Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia

Somewhere in the concrete jungle of KL beats a of heart of green consisting of  lush trees, lakes and flower gardens.   Take a break from the frenetic city with its bright lights, noisy streets and fume filled air and head to the lake garden district located at the Western edge of the central KL.  The gardens contain many attractions including the Bird Park.  Not cheap but well worth splashing out on for glimpse of the many varieties of native birds including the rare Hornbill.   

 

If you are not impressed by these amazing birds check out the eagles, parrots and owls
